Ever try something in class without really getting it? Got caught today with this Bocce Ball activity from Bob Janes. I should have done a little more reading about how to tie to SD, but we got some good stats practice out of it anyway (and it was fun!).

I've ended up using library books for this for the past couple of years. Tedious, but hopefully going to lead us to the Central Limit Theorem.
Precal students peer and self assessing birthday polynomials with self-created rubrics. Think this went well, but I need to organize it better next time to make recording the results easier.
