Flerkus! Day 1:
Man, I couldn't have asked for this to go better! I've been looking forward to presenting this problem since I started writing it about a month ago. 5 minutes of absolute silence as the kids read through it... then a few nudges and they started trying to figure things out.
Graph My Room Day 3:
One group's doing this in cm, one in inches. Scale seems to be a big tripping point. Inches group is going by 20 inches per grid line, so have to recalculate all of their coordinates. I foresee trouble in their future. CM group is going by 50 cm, so if they can keep it together, they should be fine. Fun to see different approaches here.
